The Allied Health Academy is a global platform that hosts professional development, communities of practice and networking opportunities for allied health professionals, allied health assistants and other health workers.
Since launching in 2023, our membership has grown to over 1,400 healthcare professionals from 15+ countries. We invite you to join this inclusive community to enhance your career pathway, exchange ideas, and contribute to a more empowered allied health workforce.

The Allied Health Academy is a unique space where the allied health workforce can connect and thrive in dedicated communities of practice, outside of the disciplinary and funding silos that hinder collaboration and growth.
We champion both individual advancement and wider systemic improvement through our comprehensive offerings:
Professional development courses: Developing skills, expertise and networks for members through professional learning programs, with support from experts and peers to embed and translate knowledge into practice. Short, self-paced online courses are also available, designed to quickly upskill members to meet professional or workforce opportunities and challenges.
Communities of practice: Facilitating collaboration on systemic and special interest issues for allied health at local, regional and global levels through our, interactive community of practice model. Joining a community of practice allows access to extensive resources, including webinars hosted by international experts in allied health, and opportunities to engage and connect with a supportive peer discussion platform.
Bespoke professional and training solutions: Enabling associations, health facilities and other businesses to leverage specialised professional packages for developing their teams. Corporate clients can secure private, dedicated spaces within our platform to host training initiatives and professional development goals for their communities or associations.

Founder Dr Susan Nancarrow, a former clinician, executive and professor with over twenty years’ international experience in allied health and higher education, brings her wealth of insights and expertise to The Allied Health Academy’s communities of practice and specialised learning programs.
